High frequency is great for acne, blemished and congested skin.
High frequency kills bacteria so is very effective on acne prone skin yet it is gentle enough for hyper sensitive skin. It is ideal to help improve the condition of oily areas such as the T-zone on the face, or blemished skin on the back. It also improves the skin texture.
Contraindications for High Frequency:
- Headaches / Migraines (high frequency emits a buzzing sound)
- Epilepsy.
- Excessive dental fillings / Braces (can cause strong metallic taste in mouth) – can still do treatment but will need to see how the client does during treatment.
- Pregnancy.
- Pacemaker.
